　　專有名詞在詞語中的功效：專有名詞在詞語中能夠作謂語.賓語.賓語補足語.表語.定語，有時候能夠作狀語。

　　專有名詞.代詞或別的構造作謂語時，謂語動詞在人叫和數上務必與謂語保持一致。

　　1.謂語是可數名詞奇數時，謂語動詞用奇數方式;謂語是單數時，謂語動詞用復數形式。

　　All roads lead to Rome。(這山望著那山高。)

　　His brother is an industrial engineer。

　　The number of the students attending the party is increasing。

　　★the number of 表明總數，不管后邊專有名詞是單數或是奇數，謂語動詞是奇數方式。

　　Two-thirds of the shop belongs to me。

　　★two-thirds 三分之二

　　幾分之幾作謂語，賓語是奇數方式。

　　belong to 歸屬于別人

　　Both of us are studying English。

　　★匯總：在專有名詞作謂語時，the number of 謂語動詞奇數方式;

　　幾分之幾，賓語奇數方式;

　　both 賓語應用復數形式。

　　2.謂語是不可數名詞.動詞不定式或動名詞詞組.從句時，謂語動詞用奇數方式。

　　All the money he received was given to his mother。

　　Forgetting the past means betrayal。

　　What we are talking now is useless。

　　3.謂語一部分若有as well as， with， together with， like， but， except等語句，謂語動詞的單.單數與語句前邊的專有名詞一致。

　　Mary， as well as her two sisters， is a student of this school。

　　(as well as her two sisters 作謂語Mary的主語補足語，謂語 Mary 是奇數，因此謂語動詞用復數形式)

　　No one except my friends knows anything about it。

　　4.表示時間.間距.凈重.使用價值等的復數名詞作謂語時，假如作為總體對待，謂語動詞用奇數方式。“… (×)…=…”式子中的謂語動詞也用奇數方式。

　　Three times two is six。

　　Three kilometers is 3，ooo metres. (three kilometers做為產品看來)

　　5.Either， neither作謂語時，謂語動詞用奇數方式。

　　Neither of us has been to Italy。

　　Has either of them been to Shanghai?

　　none代表可數的人或物品時，謂語動詞可以用奇數還可以用單數，意味著不可數的物品時，謂語動詞用奇數方式。

　　None of the students have/has seen the film。

　　None of the money belongs to me。

　　6.謂語由either…or， neither…nor， not only…but also聯接時，賓語方式由最靠近的謂語決策。

　　Not only you but also I am wrong。

　　Neither my aunt nor I am going out this afternoon。

　　Either you or she is to do the work。

　　7.謂語中有and，假如表明單一定義，謂語動詞用奇數。

　　The bread and butter is nice。

　　8.謂語前有many a， more than one裝飾時，謂語動詞用奇數方式。

　　Many a book has been read by the students。

　　★many a book=many books

　　More than one person has been to the Great Wall。

　　9.集合名詞作謂語，作為總體對待時，謂語動詞用奇數方式，作為每一個單獨的個人對待時，謂語動詞用單數。

　　The committee meets once a year. (做為總體)

　　The committee are having a meeting now. (做為單獨個人)

　　People， police作謂語時，謂語動詞用復數形式。

　　The police have come to arrest him。
